How do I add Subcontractors to my project?

1. Introduction

This guide is intended for all users with Admin rights. It will guide you through all the necessary steps to create subcons.

 

First navigate to https://novade1.upvise.com/ and login with an administrator or power user account.

 

 

 

 

 

2. Create Subcon Company

  • Click on the Novade icon in the top left corner and select the Resources module

  • Click on Companies

  • Click on the + icon.


  • Enter the name of the subcon company and click on Save

  • Select the newly created company

 

 

  • Click on the pencil icon in the blue bar

 

  • Select the projects to which the subcon company should have access

 

 

3. Create New Subcon Users

There are two types of Subcon Users:

  • With an Account: This means that the subcons have a login to use Novade mobile application.
  • Without an Account: This means that the subcon’s information will be recorded but they do not have a login to use Novade mobile application.

 

a.    Create Subcon Users with an Account

1.     Create Multiple Subcon Users with Accounts at once

  • Click on People.
  • Select the three dots in the blue bar and select “Import Subcons & Create Accounts”.

  • Download the Excel Import sample file.

  • Click on Enable Editing to edit the Excel File.
  • Fill in the items.

  • Upload the completed Excel File.

2.     Create a single Subcon with an Account

  • In People, click on the + icon in the blue bar
  • Select Person with Account.
  • Fill in the information and click on Create Account.
  • Choose the Subcontractor role and click on Next.
  • Choose the applications you want the subcontractor to be able to access and click on Next.

  • Select the company and project(s) you want to assign the Subcon to and click on Done.

 

b.    Create Subcon Users without an Account

1.     Create Several Subcons without Account

  • Click on People.
  • Select the three dots in the blue bar and select “Import People without Account”.
  • Download the Excel File.

  • Click on Enable Editing to edit the Excel File.
  • Fill in the items.

Note: to create a Subcon, the mandatory items are: name, email and company.

  • Upload the completed Excel File.

2.     Create a Single Subcon without an Account

  • In People, click on the + icon in the blue bar
  • Select Person w/o Account.

  • Fill in the necessary information.
  • Click on icon in the blue bar
