What do the Colors on the Observation Dashboard Represent?

An Observation is a tool to record safety commendations called Positive Observations or safety hazards called Negative Observations on site.

Negative Observations are further divided into Open Negative and Closed Negative. Open Negative Observations refer to hazards that have not been addressed yet while a Closed Negative Observations refer to those that have been corrected.

Each type of Observation is represented by a different color on the Observation dashboard.

  • An Open Negative Observation requires attention so it is represented by the color Red.
  • A Closed Negative Observation is represented by the color Grey.
  •  Green denotes a Positive Observation, there is no action required for this type of Observation.
